"To educate as many as possible with an affordable natural health education ~
That they may prosper and be in health."

Linda Cleary, Traditional Naturopath

I live in the heart of America- Kansas, with my husband & sons, four dogs & three cats. In my spare time I enjoy creating new e-Books, practicing new forms of healing, cooking, gardening, and jewelry crafting. I am constantly updating my natural health knowledge base to keep on top of all the new information out there.

I began my natural health journey with, of all things, an ingrown toenail. It just seemed like the right thing to do, so I cut a vee in the middle of my friend's nail, which of course gave instant relief. This gentleman then informed me that I was a natural, and should pursue a career in natural health. In 1995, with the help of my dear mother, I was able to obtain my degree in Naturopathy. Pronounced 'ney-chur-rop-uh-thee', it is based on the idea that, given the right conditions, the human body can cure itself of any illness. Traditional Naturopaths will only educate others and will never perform any invasive procedures.

Just What Is Traditional Naturopathy?

This system of natural medicine focuses on these eight fundamental things:

1. A wholesome diet: no processed or denatured foods. Whole grains and as many live plant foods as possible. Organic whenever possible.

2. Pure water: no city tap water. Either natural spring water (from a reliable source), or purified water.

3. Exercise: preferably walking. Gentle exercise including: increasing the heart rate, weight bearing exercise, and gentle daily stretching.

4. Rest: eight to nine hours of sleep per night. Naps to be taken during the day if needed & during fasting.

5. Emotional balance: learn to cope with and eliminate stress. A healthy self image & sense of humor are key.

6. Fresh air: fresh, outside air daily. Deep breathing done outdoors, away from traffic & other forms of pollution.

7. Sunlight: fifteen minutes a day is optimal. Between 10am and 12pm so as not to do damage to the skin.

8. A healthy environment: no harsh chemicals used on the body. No pesticides or other toxic chemicals used in the home.

A Traditional Naturopath only educates others to take control of their own bodies. Some Naturopaths are not traditional and will even perform invasive procedures. I do not consider these true Traditional Naturopaths. The information contained in my eBooks will always be in harmony with traditional wellness instruction.
